Japanese Table Manner

Realizing that my blog talk out loud about fashion and food, I decide to investigate the etiquette booth of them. You will always know that people in various parts of the world have different etiquette and it's interested thing to be known. Yeah, I would like to write it.... Starting with this Japanese table manner following :)

On the Japanese food table, you should set the chopsticks in front of you horizontally. Make sure your bowl close to your mouth when you eat rice. It's a polite way to eat, I think that it's avoiding the grain of rice falls. You may sipping the soup to describe how delicious that food is. Before dinner, just give 5 minutes to have a little conversation in Japanese language then say "Ita-da-ki-masu" which has same meaning with 'Bon Appetite". And when you done, you should say "Go-chiso-sama" which means thanks for the dish. Beside that, you should return the chopsticks like before.

You would never do those following :
  • Talking with unclear topic
  • Sniffing in front of Japanese
  • Licking the chopsticks and stabbing the foods by it, because that will give the impression of not appreciate the foods
